Among the many Italian gastronomic excellences appreciated and recognized all over the world there are undoubtedly cheeses and the absolute king is the Parmigiano Reggiano. To certify it theWorld atlas of traditional cuisine Taste Atlas, who published the standings of the best cheeses in the world and those Italian they dominate it unchallenged. The ranking is based on the vote expressed by the portal users who have tested these products. And out of 100 cheeses, Italy not only won first place but also 8 positions in the top 10. Looking further at the complete ranking of the 50 finest cheeses, it turns out that Italian productions conquer 8 positions in the top 10, 14 in the first 25: for a total of 19 Italian cheeses.

The best Italian cheeses in the world: the Taste Atlas ranking
The gold medal went to Parmigiano Reggiano, with 4,8 points out of 5. In second and third place was Spicy gorgonzola , Burrata, with 4,8 and 4,7 points respectively. Off the podium we find the Grana Padano, the Stracchino of growth , Mozzarella di Bufala Campana (fourth, fifth and seventh place with 4,7 points). In ninth place the Sardinian pecorino and closes the ranking Tuscan Pecorino, again with 4,7 points. In the top 50 there are also the Pecorino Romano (15), i Bocconcini (16) Taleggio (17) Provola (20) Stracciatella (23) Sardinian flower (24). All with 4,6 points.
