Tesla never stops. The American giant of electric cars that a week ago had overtaken Ford, taking second place in the US ranking for stock market value in reference to the automotive sector, now conquers the absolute primacy, staging a real head-to-head with another of the big names in US auto, General Motors.

Shares of the Elon Musk-led company rallied 3,4% in today's session (before easing back slightly to 3,1%), pushing the company's market capitalization to $51 billion. dollars, the same value of General Motors which then, as the minutes went by, recovered, managing to make a counter-overtaking and returning to 51,3 billion dollars.

On Wall Street, all eyes are therefore focused on the two automotive stocks in order to understand who, by tonight, will be able to prevail and conquer the primacy of one of the key sectors of the American economy.

The third in the standings, Ford, lags behind, with a market capitalization of 45 billion.
