Presidium at Magneti Marelli in Crevalcore, so that Fiat does not bring the machinery to Bari

Arm wrestling at Magneti Marelli, of the Fiat group, based in Crevalcore, one of the towns in the Bologna area most affected by the earthquake. On the one hand the workers, on the other the management and the dispute concerns the so-called line 1 which employs 15 employees and which the owners would like to transfer to Bari, as well as the mold division, at the risk of being transferred to Slovakia.

This was reported by the Dire agency: "They are talking about taking away 30% of productivity - says Francesco di Napoli of Fiom-Cgil - and the excuse is that with the earthquake productivity is slowing down". The union has therefore organized a garrison to prevent the removal of the machinery and does not rule out legal action. The sheds have been declared usable and activity should resume tomorrow. In these hours discussions are underway and the provincial secretary of the Fim, Marino Mazzini, hopes that "we will be able to avoid any type of transfer".
