"ANIA and the insurance companies are in solidarity with and close to the populations dramatically affected by the earthquake". This was stated by the president of ANIA, Maria Bianca Farina, about the earthquake that devastated many municipalities in central Italy.
"In expressing with emotion the deepest participation in the pain of the families - he added -, Ania immediately proposed to the associated companies the adoption of extraordinary initiatives capable of facilitating the insured persons of the earthquake-affected areas through the extension of the terms payment of premiums, the suspension of credit recovery actions and the safeguarding of those rights that policyholders cannot exercise due to the emergency".
Subsequently, the insurance companies "propose to intervene with initiatives in direct support of the phase of rebirth and reconstruction of the affected countries", concluded Farina.
