Revenues increased from 36,3 to 116,4 million euros. The results were obtained despite the revision of the incentive mechanisms

TerniEnergia: profits up 50%

TerniEnergia presented the results for the first six months of 2011 highlighting a sustained growth both in turnover - revenues amounted to 116,4 million Euros, up on the 36,3 million of a year ago - and in profits , up more than 50%. At 16 pm the stock was up 1,56% despite the negative price lists.

Ebitda amounted to 8,9 million euros compared to 5,9 million recorded as at 30 June 2010. The net operating result (Ebit) amounted to 8,3 million euros (5,4 million as at 30 June 2010) after depreciation, write-downs and provisions of 0,6 million (0,5 million as at 30 June 2010). Net profit amounted to 5,4 million euros and includes the share of profit from joint ventures equal to 1,1 million euros more than tripled compared to 30 June 2010 (when it amounted to 0,3 million) . The net profit at 30 June 2010 was equal to 3,6 million euro. The net financial position is equal to 36,3 million euros and represents an increase compared to 31 December 2010 (5,7 million).

Positive results, underlines Stefano Neri, president and CEO of TerniEnergia achieved despite "a complex context not only globally, but specifically for our sector which has undergone a structural change following the revision of the incentive system with effects above all in the construction of large plants”.

The installed power in the first half is equal to 38,2 MWp (24,2 MWp as at 30 June 2010) of which 11,8 MWp created on behalf of joint ventures, 6,6 MWp for plants in full equity and the remaining 19,8 MWp for third parties.
