Terna: 2016 profit of 633 million (+6,3%)

The dividend that will be proposed by the board of directors to the shareholders' meeting for 2016 is equal to 20,6 euro cents per share (of which 7,21 euro cents have already been paid) – De Fante: “Growing in all the economic-financial indicators ”.

Terna closed 2016 with a group net profit of 633,1 million euros (+6,3%). Revenues amounted to 2.103,2 million euros, with an increase of 21,1 million euros (+1%) compared to the figure for the previous year.

The dividend that will be proposed by the board of directors to the shareholders' meeting for 2016 is equal to 20,6 euro cents per share (of which 7,21 euro cents already paid as an advance and 13,39 euro cents as the balance in June 2017) .

“We also close 2016 – commented CEO Matteo Del Fante – with growth in all economic-financial indicators, thanks above all to the positive effect of the programs for optimizing operating processes and financial discipline launched in recent years”.

As announced in the new 2017-2021 Strategic Plan, "we have planned even more substantial investments in projects for the development of the national electricity grid and interconnection with foreign countries - added Del Fante - which will help the full integration of renewable sources into the grid and while enabling security of supply. Our development strategy is oriented towards the choice of increasingly technological and efficient solutions, which will make it possible to generate even greater benefits for the environment, as well as reduce energy costs for businesses and households”.
