Terna, the company that manages the national electricity grid,e Digital Magics EnergyTech, a specialized incubator program for digital energy startups, they choose Particular Materials as a startup winner of the Call for Innovation AMS – Advanced Materials for sustainability, launched last July with the aim of developing latest-generation solutions, as part of the search for innovative materials to make electricity grid infrastructure even more efficient and sustainable. These are building materials, paints, nanomaterials and innovative and eco-sustainable environmental integration systems.
Particular Materials develops, produces and markets innovative nanomaterials thanks to a green, flexible and scalable proprietary technology. The startup's project consists in creating a circular manufacturing platform for the integration of nanomaterials in industrial products. Particular Materials is able to synthesize nanoparticles with laboratory control but in massive volumes through flexible, sustainable, safe and intelligent processes. The startup's products find applications for coatings, catalysis, composites and biomedicine.
Particular Materials wins an award of 15.000 € as the best innovative project in the field of Advanced materials, materials characterized by a high technological profile that contribute to improving the environment that surrounds us and making it not only more efficient and economical but also, in the long run, healthier and more sustainable.

Terna will offer the ideas deemed most interesting, among the 10 finalists, the possibility of embarking on a development and Open Innovation process within one of the Group's reference offices dedicated to Advanced Materials for Sustainability.
The initiative involves Digital Magics EnergyTech, the vertical program of Digital Magics - the most important incubator of "Made in Italy" digital startups active throughout the Italian territory - in partnership with Compendia, an innovative energy services company that combines the activities of service and investment aimed at the sustainability and competitiveness of its customers' energy systems.
