International tensions, oil fluctuations and profit-taking hit the stock market (-1%)

International tensions and achievements also weighed down on Piazza Affari, dragged down (-1%) by banks and high tech: in the end, however, it halved the losses - Heavy red by Mediaset, Stm, Mediolanum and Mediobanca - Banca Ifis against the tide for l Findomestic operation: sighting the 20 euro and earning 4,8% – Bpm, Telecom and Autogrill do well.

Stock exchanges limit the damage after a stormy morning, under the roar of Saudi operations over Yemeni skies. Piazza Affari closes with a drop of 1%, halving the initial drop. Paris fell by 0,2%, Frankfurt -0,1%, Madrid -0,4%.

The American Stock Exchange falls for the fourth consecutive day, the S&P500 index loses 0,3%, the Dow Jones -0,3%, the Nasdaq 0,5%. Brent is trading at $58,7, up 4%, after rising 2,5% yesterday. Wti at 50,7 dollars (+3,2%). Eni slows down in the finale and closes unchanged, Saipem + 0,1%. Saras earn 3,5% thanks to the promotion of SocGen. Retrieve Ferragamo -0,3% after the sharp drops in the morning. In the luxury sector, the worst share is Yoox -3,4%.

The most targeted sector is that of tech stocks: StM it loses 3,7%, yesterday it lost more than 4%. The Dutch Asml, the leading European manufacturer of chip printing machines, fell by 5,1%. In the automotive Fiat Chrysler -0,6%.

Pininfarina it loses 5,6% after yesterday's 26% jump. The company has confirmed contacts in progress with the Indian group Mahindra & Mahindra, which however at the moment would not have advanced concrete acquisition offers.  

Finmeccanica -1,6%. The credit sector is also declining: Unicredit -1,3% Understanding -1,2% MontePaschi -0,8%. New all-time high for Banking Iphis +5% exceeding the 1 billion euro capitalization threshold. Asset management stocks are down, returning from a prolonged rally. Azimuth -1,8% Mediolanum -2,9%. In fall Enel -1,7% and Mediaset -3,4%. Also noteworthy is the thud of Trevi -5,6%.
