Telecom: go to online bills (or 2 euros more per month)

New arrivals for Tim-Telecom users. From February XNUMXst, the free "Online account" service for receiving invoices in exclusively electronic format (with the consequent elimination of the paper invoice and related expenses) is activated automatically for all residential customers who have an ADSL and Fiber offer with direct domiciliation bank or postal invoices and have configured an e-mail address associated with the data service.

For all customers who on the same date will receive the paper invoice and possibly also the postal payment slip, by choice or because they do not possess both of the requirements described above, the amount for the production and shipment of the monthly paper invoice will be, in line with market standards, equal to the value of 2 euros.

The telephone company points out that "the new invoicing method in exclusively electronic format adopted by Tim is inserted in a general context of incentives for forms of electronic invoicing and automatic payments that both public and private companies are pursuing through processes of 'dematerialization ' and that is the replacement of the paper documentation in favor of the IT document”.

Not only. Tim also specifies that he "informed his customers affected by this change with ample notice, recalling the right to be able to withdraw from the contract".
