Telecom: Oi denies offer for Tim Brasil

Oi freezes Telecom Italia: no joint offer will come for Tim Brasil. The Brazilian telecommunications giant has denied the rumors circulated in recent days, and relaunched in particular by the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, according to which Oi, Claro (America Movil) and Vivo (Telefonica) had reached an agreement to launch an offer of 31,5 billion reais ( equal to approximately 10,4 billion euros) to purchase, and then split up, the subsidiary of Telecom Italia.

Apparently, therefore, there is no incoming offer for Tim Brasil, as the president of Telecom, Giuseppe Recchi, also clarified immediately after the dissemination of the rumors.

At the beginning of the afternoon, the Telcom Italia share on the Stock Exchange lost 0,9%, to 0,89 euro.
