Telecom Italy has placed a bond with expiration at 8 years for an amount of 750 million euro. The issue was intended for institutional investors.
According to what was communicated by the same company, the bonds will pay one annual fixed coupon of 3,625%, the second lowest of outstanding bonds issued under the group's EMTN program.
Il return of the issue, equal to 3,679% – observes Telecom – is "much lower than the average cost of the group's debt which at the end of September 2015 amounted to 5,3%".
The Telecom operation inaugurates the bond issues market by Italian non-financial corporates in 2016.
