Telecom Italia simplifies tariffs: the connection fee has been eliminated

Starting from November 10st of this year, Telecom will further simplify the tariffs for calls from home telephones to national landlines and mobiles, eliminating the connection charge: the telephone company will maintain a single price for all calls to national landlines and mobiles. equal to 50 euro cents per minute. The 3% discount on calls to national landline numbers over XNUMX hours of calls per month has also been confirmed.

CContextually to this simplification, the cost of the subscription to the basic telephone service goes from the current 17,54 euros to 18,54 euros per month, remaining in line with the European average. However, the single subscription cost of the "package" offers which include voice, data and telephone line services remains unchanged. This decision is aimed at favoring consumer preferences and complying with market trends, which in recent years have seen a significant growth in this type of offer.

The innovations introduced also take into account the economic context of the telecommunications sector. As evidenced by the latest report of the Communications Authority, in fact, in Italy over the last fifteen years the consumer price index for telecommunications has decreased by 44%, thanks to technological innovation, market liberalization and effects of regulation. Even in international comparison, Italian families on average sustain a lower expenditure than that of families in other European countries.

Telecom Italia also confirmed its commitment to infrastructure investments to achieve the objectives of the European Digital Agenda. Telecom Italia's investment plan envisages allocating over 2014 billion euros in the three-year period 2016-3,4 for the development of latest generation technologies in Italy.
