The campaign starts again from today Telecom Italy dedicated to the system Cloud It Hyperway, a bundle made up of a Hyperway MPLS connectivity service on copper or optical fiber combined with a series of cloud-type IT services, chosen by the customer, among those already present in the package "Italian cloud".
This time the innovation is not so much in the technology, but in the offer that allows you to combine symmetrical profiles of connectivity (same bandwidth both upstream and downstream) with IT services infrastructural type provided in “as a service“. Telecom's cloud system was launched on the market in October 2010 and over time has been enriched with numerous applications. Today it is a complete tool which, thanks to the provision of connectivity within the package, completely eliminates the need for investments in IT resources dedicated and specialized know-how by the companies that use it.
In integrating the services, Telecom has chosen a method whereby each customer is awarded cloud services according to the type of connectivity purchased, thanks to the mechanism of "Cloud Drops", a sort of cumulative discount that can be spent exclusively in the context of IT services.
The catalog currently includes type Infrastructural services IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service): Nuvola It Data Space, Virtual Ospit@, Nuvola It Virtual Desktop, Nuvola It Advanced Hosting EasyPack. These are solutions for it storage, hosting and virtualization.
