No revocation of the Telecom Italia board of directors which will remain in existence until the next shareholders' meeting in April and will remain composed of 11 members without replacing outgoing members and without new entries. This was decided by a majority today's fiery assembly which rejected the revocation proposal put forward by Findim di Fossati with 50,35 of the votes.
42,3% were in favor of the revocation while 7,4% abstained. Basically, as was the forecast on the eve, the line supported by the Spaniards of Telefonica and Telco prevailed
However, the battle has only been postponed and will reopen in the coming months on the occasion of the spring assembly which, in addition to approving the budget, will have to elect the new board of directors for a three-year term in the light of the change in the shareholding balance resulting from the growth of Telefonica in Telco and the entry into the field of BlackRock but also the rediscovered dynamism of Fossati, which heralds a battle to change the statute of the company.
