The French Xavier Niels holds a share of Telecom Italy equal to 15,143% of the entitled capital. This is what emerges from a Consob update on Telecom's shareholders, based on Niels' reports which add to those made known yesterday.
With a communication dated 29 October - indicates Consob - Niels announced that on 27 October he had increased the potential stake previously held in Telecom (equal to 11,2%) through the indirectly controlled company Rock Investment, bringing it precisely to 15,143% .
Meanwhile, Telecom Italia stock on the Stock Exchange, after the +8,7% recorded yesterday, gains another 3,1% today at the opening, once again scoring the best rise of the Ftse Mib. The value of the shares thus rises to €1,302, the highest level since July 2008.
