Telecom Italia, after the accounts +16% in one month

The Telecom Italia title in Piazza Affari did well: gains 1,8% to 0,926 euros and is reported to be at its highest since the end of October. The group led by Franco Bernabè, which yesterday lost 1,68%, has changed pace since the release of the 2011 accounts, which took place on 24 February.

Since that day, the stock has gained 16% both by virtue of the promotions collected by various business houses and because the accounts lead operators to optimism, starting with the reduction (higher than expected) of debt. Furthermore, precisely the cut of the 2011 dividend payout to 900 million (from 1,2 billion last year) convinced investors of management's commitment to improve the net financial position with incisiveness.
