Telecom, down on the Stock Exchange after Agcom on license cut

Telecom Italy in red in Piazza Affari, among the worst blue chips, after Agcom's decision to lower the copper network access fees. The shares of the telephone group lose 2,6% to 0,5135 euro. The Authority's proposal was contested by Telecom in a note yesterday evening.

"It presents clear contrasting profiles with respect to the European framework" explains the group led by Franco Bernabè, underlining that if the measures were confirmed, the economic-financial impact would amount to around 110 million on an annual basis compared to 2012.

Furthermore, Telecom continues to explain, Agcom's decision "severely jeopardizes" the path of network corporateisation.
