TELECOM DRAGS TELCO SHAREHOLDERS UP
PIAZZA AFFARI IS THE BEST STOCK EXCHANGE IN EUROPE
Taurus picks up the phone: business square, thanks to the rise of Telecom Italy +3,83% and, consequently, of its main shareholders (Generali +1,46%, Mediobanca +5,02% and Intesa +3,6%), it is the best in Europe.
The shares run following the rumors according to which the Chinese financial industrial group Hutchinson Whampoa, which in Italy controls 3Italiawould aim to acquire a 29,9% stake in Telecom Italia and to do so it would be ready to buy Telco shares for up to 1,2 euros.
Piazza Affari rises by 1,26% to 15436, ahead to other European Stock Exchanges: Paris +0,11, Frankfurt -0,3%, London +0,6%.
On the government bond market, the BTP has wiped out this morning's gains and now the yield has risen to 4,35% with a spread of 309, unchanged compared to yesterday.
A Wall Street the three main indexes rise imperceptibly: Dow Jones +0,05%, S&P +0,15%, Nasdaq +0,05%. Alcoa loses 0,5% after a strong start. Yesterday evening, the company presented better-than-expected first-quarter results.
In all of Europe, and in particular in Milan, the banks: Unicredit +1,89%, Ubi +1,25%, Pop.Milano +2,53%. In Frankfurt Deutsche Bank rises by 2,8%, in London Barclays +2,7%.
Good funding data push asset management stocks: Azimuth + 5,75% Mediolanum + 2,6%.
Utilities were positive: in particular, the rise of A2A which increases by 2,95%, Enel +1,24%, Enel Green Power +1,81%. Atlantia is down -1,06%.
Earn money Eni +1% with stable oil prices: Brent at 104,6 dollars a barrel.
Among industrial stocks, Fiat rises by 1,61% on the day of the meeting, Finmeccanica +1,33%,StM +0,52%. Pirelli today it loses 2,34%.
Mediaset advances by 4,5%.
All the luxury stocks are down: Luxottica -2,25% Ferragamo unchanged %, Tod’s -0,91%.
It bounces Moleskine + 3,3%.
