Telecom: profits, revenues and dividends of the Brazilian subsidiary Tim Participacoes grow

The 2011 accounts of Tim Participacoes, the Brazilian subsidiary of Telecom Italia: net profit up 65,5% compared to 2010, to 1,285 billion reis, thanks to the growth in net revenues, to 17 billion – The fourth quarter was good – The the total amount of dividends reaches 533 million reais.

Excellent results, in 2011, for Tim Participacoes, the Brazilian subsidiary of Telecom Italia, which closes the fiscal year with a net profit of 1,285 billion reais, marking a growth of 65,5% on an organic basis compared to 2010. Net revenues also rose, by 18%, to 17 billion. The company announced this in a statement released today.

For fourth quarter, also on an organic basis, profit grew by 8,5%, to 405 million, while net revenues rose by 19,4%, to 4,688 billion reais against 3,92 billion in the last three months of 2010.

The total dividend payout for 2011 also rose to 533 million reais against 497 million in 2010.
