Telecom Italy completed the placement of the unsecured equity-linked bond loan for an amount equal to 2 billion euros and maturing in March 2022. The bonds, for a nominal unit value equal to 100 thousand euros, will be repaid at par with their nominal value at maturity and they will pay one fixed coupon of 1,125% per annum.
The proceeds of the bond, according to Telecom Italia's plans, will be used to meet the investment plan announced by the company. The issue was handled by a pool of banks made up of BNP Paribas, JP Morgan, Barclays, Citi, Credit Suisse and UniCredit.
