Telecom Italy it does not need any capital increase. The executive chairman of the company said, Franco Bernabe, during the conference call with analysts on half-year results

Two days ago Telecom stock collapsed in Piazza Affari due to some rumors reported by "Il Messaggero" according to which Bernabè would have convened a pre-board meeting to discuss a capital increase in view of the next board meeting.

However, the indiscretion of the Roman newspaper had been denied by Telecom Italia in a note: "Regarding today's press indiscretions, the company specifies that the agenda of the board of directors for August XNUMX does not include discussion of an increase of capital".

Today in the early afternoon, the Telecom Italia stock on the Stock Exchange travels down by more than four points, well behind the Ftse Mib.
