Telecom hires up to 4 young people between 2015 and 2017

After seven years of fasting, recruitment reopens in Telecom Italy, which is ready to recruit up to 4 thousand young people between 20 and 30 years old. The managing director of the group confirmed it today to the unions, Marco Patuano, on the occasion of the illustration of the strategic plan 2015-2017, "characterized by an approach strongly focused on industrial development, with an acceleration in the program of innovative investments both in Italy and in Brazil (approximately 14,5 billion euros cumulative over the three-year period)".

Patuano explained that Telecom has “the need to strengthen its workforce by introducing it into the company new professional skills with young technicians and graduates in their 20s and 30s. We will hire up to 4 people over 3-4 years using the new regulatory instruments that the government is developing”.

Telecom also foresees that the current "defensive" solidarity, which will end at the end of April, could be replaced by a solidarity that still protects employment, allows the entry of young people and reduces the average age in the company. The company's position on Caring, i.e. Telecom's call centres, has been confirmed: the envisaged birth of a company will take place which will incorporate the activities of the Caring division currently in Telecom Italia Spa.

The company reiterated that Caring is "a core activity and will remain under the direct control of Telecom Italia Spa, just as the salaries envisaged for personnel will not change".
