Take risks, unlock and dream the future. These are the three keywords of "Unlock the Future", the Italian appointment of TEDxWomen, organized and hosted by Vodafone Italia in collaboration with 27esima Ora, the famous blog of Corriere della Sera, and Valore D, the association that supports female leadership in business.

Twelve female profiles of excellence from the most diverse sectors, from the cook to the digital champion, from the criminal mediator to the dream hunter, united by a single purpose: to tell how to build a better future thanks to one's work and one's passions. They are the protagonists of TEDxMilanoWomen, scheduled for 28 May at the Vodafone Village in Milan from 15.00 to 20.30 pm.

The format is the classic one of TEDx, the independent events that encourage debate around innovative ideas in various sectors and which belong to the global non-profit organization TED: 15 minutes each to tell how women, in this case, work for the future with the testimonies of those who have known how to get involved without fear of making mistakes, who have been able to re-read events with new eyes and who struggle to turn their dreams into reality.

This is the second edition of TEDxMilanoWoman hosted by Vodafone Italia, which has always been committed to promoting the themes of diversity, inclusion and the digital evolution of society. That of May 28 is the only Italian date of TEDx for women, simultaneously with 225 other cities in the world. During the event there will be a live link with TEDWomen Global which will take place in Monterey, USA.

The speakers who will share the stage tomorrow are: Valeria Cagnina, the youngest Digital Champion of Italy, Cristina Bowerman, the only woman to have been named Chef Ambassador of Expo 2015 and one of the few to have received a Michelin star, Francesca Rizzi, founder and CEO of the first Italian startup created to apply the concepts of sharing economy to organizational welfare, Anna Zanardi, Change advisor to managing directors and management committees of large multinationals, Antonella Mansi, manager awarded Cavaliere al merito della Repubblica Italiana by Giorgio Napolitano, Cristina Nunez, Spanish artist who practices self-portrait therapy through photography, Chiara Burberi, founder of an online platform to teach Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in a new and innovative way, Ilaria Capua, known for her studies on influenza viruses and in particular on avian flu, Evelyne Sarah Afaawua, has a blog that encourages and raises awareness of the intrinsic beauty of black skin, Gaia Elisa Rossi, a young sorceress who has worked with exceptional artists, Claudia Mazzucato, voluntary criminal mediator for the Ministry of justice supporter of restorative justice, Chiara Bisconti, leader of the Gender Balance project, with the aim of promoting women within the Nestlè group.
