Tecniche Nuove acquires 30% of Point Vétérinaire Italie

The Tecniche Nuove Group, active in the specialized publishing market for productive and professional activities, has acquired 30% of the company Point Vétérinaire Italie Srl. This operation will also be followed in the next four years by the acquisition of the majority of the share capital until 70%, with a future option to acquire the remaining shares.

Three assets have been acquired: Point Vétérinaire Italie for publishing activities, in the core business sectors in which it is a leader such as veterinary, animal husbandry and veterinary public health; PVI for all other sectors, including food and human food safety (leader), laboratories and the chemical sector; PVI Formazione Srl, a group company focused on residential and distance training (accredited body). PVI is also accredited for the ECM training of all health professions, for the training of Food Technologists and for food operators who handle food.

“We are particularly satisfied with this new acquisition – comments Ivo Nardella, managing director of the Tecniche Nuove Group – because it completes our leadership position in terms of publishing and training offer for a strategic sector for the Italian economy such as modern agriculture. From today, thanks to the completeness of our portfolio of magazines, events, books, training and digital solutions, we will be able to enhance the scientific aspects, technologies, and the mix of professionalism thanks to which the many production chains in the food sector can proudly talk about Made in Italy”.

Gabriele Lanzarotti, sole director of Point Vétérinaire Italie, will maintain his role and will be responsible for its development. PVI present in Italy since 1992, on the editorial front it publishes a weekly, a fortnightly, five monthly, four bimonthly, three quarterly. The books sector presents a catalog of over a hundred titles including university textbooks, manuals and books for professionals.
