Revenue Agency, 730 pre-filled: there is a rush for refunds. The new simplified mode pushes the boom in sending

Record for the 730 pre-filled. In just eight days from the opening of the channel for the electronic transmission of the pre-compiled declaration, the flow of declarations sent by citizens exceeded million threshold. A true success that grows exponentially, with an increase of 28% compared to the previous year. Among these contributions, almost one million are 730 models, while the others concern personal income. And what's even more surprising is that 60% of taxpayers chose the new simplified mode.

This rush to electronically transmit pre-compiled declarations also seems to be fueled by the desire to receive the refunds faster. Therefore, many taxpayers are likely to be attracted not only by the simplicity and convenience of the new system, but also by the prospect of receiving refunds in a more timely manner.

Revenue Agency: record of adherence to the pre-compiled form

But let's go beyond the numbers. Less than 10 days after the opening of the channel, the count exceeded one million declarations (to be precise, 1.004.184), of which 986.641 are 730 models. Here is a curious fact: 60% chose the new simplified mode , without intricate codes, but with clear sections such as “family”, “home”, “work” and “expenses”.

At the same time, accesses to the service reached a total of around 9 million 560 thousand, recorded starting from 30 April, when the pre-compiled forms were made available for consultation.

The situation is constantly monitored, and after the alarms raised by the National Accountants Association, the Tax Office confirmed that the pre-compiled declarations made available do not present any anomalies. Any inaccuracies are corrected “promptly” before taxpayers have the opportunity to transmit them to the Agency itself.

When do the pre-filled 730 refunds arrive?

With the new pre-populated 730 form, those who are entitled to a reimbursement tax will be able to receive it directly from the Revenue Agency, without having to go through intermediaries such as Cafs or tax withholding agents. The date of disbursement of refunds varies depending on when it was submitted the tax return. For example, those who filled it out in May will probably receive Irpef refunds in July if they are an employee, or in August (or September) if they are a pensioner. The same applies to those who have to pay an adjustment, which will follow similar deadlines. Naturally, the longer you delay in submitting your tax return, the longer you will have to wait to receive the credit.
