Tav, from ABC to ACB: Yes meeting, Turin goes on

Meeting on the Table Friday 22 February at 17.30, at the Superga Theater in Nichelino (municipality in the province of Turin), a public information and discussion meeting will be held on the Turin-Lyon line organized by the "Yes, Turin goes ahead" committee.

The meeting aims to explain to non-experts what the Tav is and to answer questions such as: why can't the current tunnel be used? Is the TAV for the transport of goods or passengers? At what stage are the works? What is the environmental impact? Does TAV offer job opportunities? Are everyone really notable in Susa Valley? Why is it important to go to Lyon?

The themes will be presented in a simple way and discussed also through the testimony of people involved in the work for various reasons.

The event will also include Paolo Foietta, ex-Extraordinary Commissioner of the Government for the Turin – Lyon railway axis, who will give a critical reading of the Cost-Benefit Analysis (ACB) conducted on behalf of the Government by the commission led by Professor Ponti.
