I Municipalities of the province of Foggia affected by bad weather between 1 September and 6 September 2014 will benefit from suspension of payments and tax obligations expiring in the period between 1 September and 20 December 2014. This is provided for by a decree of the Minister of Economy and Finance, Pier Carlo Padoan. The suspension affects all taxpayers, natural and non-natural persons. There is no refund of the amount already paid. The suspension does not apply to withholding taxes, which must continue to be made and paid.
With another decree from Minister Padoan, the suspension of tax payments and fulfilments was also ordered for Municipalities of Tuscany affected byflood of 19 and 20 September last. The suspension it concerns payments and obligations falling between 19 September and 20 December 2014. Reimbursement of the amount already paid is not provided for in this too and withholdings must in any case be made.
