The Government has decided to “leave the old regimes in force and to postpone the application of the Tares with government surcharge on the last installment at the end of the year”. This was stated by the president of Anci, Graziano Delrio, as he left Palazzo Chigi after meeting with the Executive.
“It's good news – added Delrio – because there was the risk of waste emergency and liquidity emergency, and the risk of a further sting on businesses and citizens. This is a great victory for trade unions, businesses and municipalities. We are absolutely convinced it is the right way”.
The payment of Tares, the new tax on waste, will begin in May, but the 30 cents more for each square meter compared to Tarsu and Tia will only be applied from December. This is an increase that will go directly to the State.
As for the decree for the release of payments to creditor companies of the public administration, "the government has guaranteed us that it will be launched by the weekend or at the latest by Monday", Delrio said again.
