Eni reiterates "its non-involvement in any unlawful conduct" in relation to the preliminary investigation launched by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office into the acquisition of the OPL 245 block which took place in 2011. In a note, the company explains that it has entered into the agreements for the acquisition of the blockade only with the Nigerian Government and the Shell company.
