The United States and Russia have finally found an agreement on a draft agreement which provides for the cessation of hostilities in Syria starting from 27 February.
The news was reported by American sources who confirmed the news reported by Arab TV al-Jazeera. Indeed, the latter declared that she had seen a copy of the agreement which provides that the various factions of the Syrian opposition give their green light to the ceasefire by 12.00 on 26 February.
According to Orient TV, a pro-Syrian opposition broadcaster who quotes the coordinator and former premier Riad Hijab, the agreement for a temporary truce has already been accepted and will be applied "in compliance with international guarantees".
However, the "pact" will not concern operations against Daesh, the Qaedists of al-Nusra and other organizations considered terrorist by the United Nations Security Council.
