Suzuki wants to end the dispute with Volkswagen by 2013

In November 2011, the Japanese company launched a legal action against Volkswagen before the court of the International Chamber of Commerce in London to force the Wolfsburg giant to sell the 20% held in Suzuki.

Suzuki wants to end the dispute with Volkswagen by 2013

"We are aiming for a solution to the dispute by the end of the year" between Suzuki and Volkswagen. He told Radiocor Toshihiro Suzuki, executive vice president of Suzuki and son of president Osamu Suzuki, on the sidelines of the Geneva motor show. 

In November 2011, the Japanese company launched a legal action against Volkswagen before the court of the International Chamber of Commerce in London, to force the Wolfsburg giant to sell the 20% held in Suzuki. 

The German company, in turn, accused Suzuki, which owns 1,5% of VW's capital, of not having respected the contractual clauses following an agreement with Fiat on the supply of diesel engines.
