Superticket, found the funds to reduce it

Lorenzin confirms that the government has raised the necessary funds to finance the start of the reduction of the controversial instrument introduced in 2011

Superticket, found the funds to reduce it

The Minister of Health, Beatrice Lorenzin, anticipated that on the superticket "a ceiling of resources has been identified and as a ministry we have also indicated some criteria to start reducing the superticket where there is more need".

“The situation is evolving – explained Lorenzin – the important thing is to start reducing the superticket”, a 10 euro levy on diagnostics and specialist visits that each Region can apply in a different way. “The blanket is very short – however Lorenzin put his hands forward – we have also tried to help the parliamentary process by identifying paths that can then begin a process of easing the superticket so that the Regions can then spread it in various ways with respect to the objectives that they will set in the Chamber”.

At the moment, the most realistic hypotheses are: a reduction of the superticket based on the patient's income bracket or the introduction of a single national threshold. The measure, that of the intervention on the superticket, loudly requested by Mpd, seems to be crucial in view of a future electoral alliance between Pd and Campo Progressista.

According to the Dems, the superticket "has had the result of making public structures less competitive in favor of private ones and has only partially contributed to the increase in revenue".
