“The ultimate goal of the Salone del Mobile.Milano is to create, defend and spread the culture of design and know-how. For this reason, helping schools to promote professional profiles able to face the complexity of the world and to imagine and plan a better future through design has always been in its DNA”, comments Marco Sabetta, general manager of the event. “We are therefore proud to host The Lost Graduation Show this year as part of the “supersalone”: a unique initiative which, in the name of multiculturalism, will show us how we will live, work, communicate through internal spaces, and not only".

“Every year, a visit to the Salone del Mobile.Milano is a source of energy and new ideas,” he says Anniina Koivu, curator of the exhibition. "Today, after an 18-month blackout, we can't wait to accelerate, get back to production, meet in person, have fun. I'm sure "supersalone" will interrupt the stand-by mode in which we all languish. The Lost Graduation Show will offer a unique opportunity to pick up the threads of the discussion, evaluate with fresh eyes which are the most urgent issues that design should deal with and which directions it should choose. Gathering them all together on a global stage represents the opportunity for a renaissance."

In addition to physical exposure, a digital platform – @thelostgraduationshow – will host all the selected works so that they can reach an even wider audience and will allow anyone who wishes to contact young creatives directly.
