In their obsessive quest for global notoriety, international synthetic artists Janky & Guggimon present Superplastic: The Janky Heist, an innovative drop NFT ( Non Fungible Token) created in collaboration with the cutting-edge arts and entertainment brand Superplastic and Christie's.
The two-part toss begins on July 9 with the auction of eight Cryptojanky NFTs in a unique art edition during the Christie's Trespassing sale and includes designs created by the best artists NFT Gucci Ghost, OG Slick, Shantell Martin, Alex Pardee, Stickymonger, Alexandar Todorovic, as well as two unique one-of-a-kind pieces by Janky & Guggimon themselves. Christie's online auction will be active from 9 to 22 July.
Furthermore, the On July 13, the pair will release 9.240 NFTs unique in a Japanese reverse auction hosted on jankyheist.com.
The launch of NFT features unique blockchain mechanics and is based on Superplastic: The Janky Heist, a Janky & Guggimon short cut together using police footage and security, and which follows the duo's failed attempt to break into Christie's New York at Rockefeller Center to steal rare works of art. After accidentally blowing up the building, the pair escape into the night with a handful of broken NFTs. The recombined pieces make up the 9.240 1/1 Cryptojanky NFTs for sale during the auction.
