What wouldn't marketers do to attract customers to stores and convince them to buy? Everything and more. Even the humble, squeaky trolley is enlisted by the specialists in the war of the lanes, to make long walks smoother with new wheels, new driving systems complete with power brakes and power steering and then with motors, sensors, cameras and other electronic devices.

The Portuguese Follow has developed WiiGo, a trolley that literally follows the customer. When "his" customer arrives, whom he recognizes thanks to the cameras installed, he leaves the row of trolleys and stands in front of him. Then it starts (the customer has to press a button) following the customer at a distance of about 1,5 m which is used to maintain the Wi Fi connection.

The speed must be around 4 km/hour and when there is an insurmountable obstacle, the trolley stops and whistles. It also whistles when the connection drops.

The global giant Walmart has filed a patent for a trolley equipped with an automatic driving system from a smartphone
or able to move on his own following the instructions of the customer who calls him the shopping list.

After which everything should be brought to your home by a drone like those of Amazon. Which, among other things, has already started a series of deliveries to customers' homes, in their absence, thanks to the possibility of entering via programmable digital locks. All in absolute safety, guarantees Amazon.
