Growth is slowing down in the major global economies, but not in Italy. In February the OECD super index recorded a decrease of 0,01% compared to the previous month, while our country not only did it continue to register positive dynamics, but it even saw the indicator accelerate to +0,18%.
The Italian performance is the best among those of the countries listed by the Parisian institution also looking at the annual change, equal to +2,46%, compared to the general +0,77% of the OECD area. For the euro area the super-index recorded +0,10% on the month and +1,88% on the year. The index related to Germany scored +0,04% on the month and +1,54% on the year, while the one on France showed a zero monthly change and +0,99% on year.
Outside the Eurozone, the super-index for Use recorded a decrease of 0,09% per month and +0,25% per year. On the Japan the dynamic marks -0,02% on month and +0,65% on year. Among the large emerging countries, the only non-negative figure is the monthly +0,01%. China, while the superindex Indian it was down 0,07%, that russo by 0,11% and that Brazilian 0,21%.
