Riad night delivers the Supercoppa Italiana to the nerazzurri and pushes the rossoneri into the abyss of crisis: difficult, if not impossible, to separate the two things, because the joy of the former intersects with the disappointment of the latter, as always, moreover, in sport. Inzaghi wins the third trophy of Inter's management, as well as the fourth Super Cup (the sixth, also considering those as a player) of his career, thus grabbing two sacred monsters like Lippi e Capello, Pioli instead, despite himself, he badly lost the final both from the point of view of the result and the game, confirming the black moment of his Milan.

A well-deserved victory for Inter, who took to the field with an attitude enormously superior to that of their Rossoneri cousins. In the 21st minute, in fact, the nerazzurri were already two goals up thanks to Marco's (10') and Dzeko (21'), partly on his own merits (the Bosnian's plays were splendid in both cases), partly due to the mistakes of the Milan defense, in the Lecce version despite Pioli's reassurances. And so the Riyadh derby, very balanced on paper, was addressed in less than half the time, especially as the Diavolo was not only fragile in defense, but also in the build-up phase, where he didn't go beyond a shot Lion saved by Onana.
