There are many criticisms rained down on the government regarding the new decree law, approved yesterday evening by the Council of Ministers, which blocks the transfer of credit and the discount on the invoice for building bonuses.

There are many discontents coming from companies and trade unions operating in the sector.

Abi and Ance: a timely measure is needed

In a joint statement, theABI (Italian Banking Association) and theReeds (National Association of Building Builders), appreciated the clarifications to the decree on solidal responsibility but they ask for one timely measure which immediately allows banks to expand their purchasing power by using a part of the tax debts collected with the F24, offsetting them with building bonus credits sold by companies and acquired by banks.

"It was decided to bury families and businesses in the name of who knows what reason of state" was the comment of the president of Ance, Federica Brancaccio.

Fillea-Cgil: ready to strike

According to the general secretary of the Phillea, Alessandro Genoese “with the block on the transfer of credits and the discount on the invoice for construction bonuses, yes they will lose in private construction approx one hundred thousand jobs and many businesses will close.”
"This is a government attack unprecedented at companies more serious, to workers in the sector and families in difficulty" declared Genovesi who is also ready for a general strike "If he does not retrace his steps and open a discussion table, we will put in place all the necessary mobilization actions, including the general strike of the whole supply chain of buildings".
