Superbarocco, FS Italiane Group sponsor of the double exhibition between Rome and Genoa

Traveling with art. the FS Group takes sides with the Ducal Palace in Genoa and some Stables of the Quirinale in Rome for Superbaroque, an exhibition that will link the two cities to tell and celebrate the Genoese Baroque period in the artistic explosion and economic flowering of the Ligurian capital until the decline and tarnishing of its political fortunes. The exhibition is curated by Jonathan Bober, head of the Department of Old Master Prints at the National Gallery in Washington, by Piero Boccardo, former director of the Genoese Palazzo Rosso and one of the world's leading experts on the subject, and by Franco Boggero, art historian and expert of Ligurian painting of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

In detail, the exhibition “Superbarocco. Art in Genoa from Rubens to Magnasco” in the presence of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and open to the public from 25 March to 26 July while the sister exhibition “Superbarocco. The shape of wonder. Masterpieces in Genoa between 3 and 1600” will be open to the public from Sunday 1750 March and hosted in the Ligurian capital until 27 July.

As stated on the FS News portal, "the partnership confirms the Group's commitment to culture and contributes to the promotion and enhancement of the country's artistic-monumental heritage, emphasizing its tourist-cultural vocation".
