Hillary Clinton Says She's 'Really Concerned' Over Gmail-China Scandal

The Obama administration is looking into allegations that Chinese hackers hacked the passwords of hundreds of accounts of Asian political activists, journalists, as well as US military and officials

   The "Gmail scandal" swells more and more: the administration of Barack Obama takes absolutely seriously the allegations of Google, the giant that offers this e-mail service. And that he revealed that he had thwarted a large-scale attack, originating from the Chinese city of Jinan, on the passwords of hundreds of accounts opened by Asian political activists, journalists, but also military and US government officials.

   It was Hillary Clinton, secretary of state, who spoke on the matter: «These allegations are very serious, we take them seriously and we are examining them – she underlined -. We are really worried." Jay Carney, Obama's spokesman, admitted having discussed it with the President: "Threats to information and communication infrastructures - Carney underlined - represent a serious challenge to the economic and national security of the United States".
