Four huge diamonds weighing more than 100 carats each. The discovery is made by the South African Rockwell Diamonds, whose title – after the announcement – recorded a +69% on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
The gems are between 116 and 168 carats. In other words, the weight is at least 23 grams, approximately half of an egg.
The value depends on the quality of the diamonds, but we are already talking about tens of millions of dollars each. The stones were found in the Orange River, South Africa.
The company is publicly traded in Johannesburg and Toronto.
