On FIRST Arte Medvedev, Caravaggio and San Valentino

Su FIRST Art the Sunday Tale is a bit spicy in this edition: the author is the thirty-eight-year-old Russian poet Kirill Medvedev, artist and activist, known for his strong stance against the big publishing houses: for this reason he gave in without "ifs" and without “buts” the rights of all his works. The title of the story is "Everything is bad". The menu of the FIRSTonline magazine dedicated to the world of art and culture continues with an interesting and very useful guide to the works of Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio scattered throughout the peninsula. Despite the short duration of his life - Caravaggio died at the age of only 39 -, the painter of Lombard origins has to his credit a considerable number of works exhibited in the main museums of the world such as the Louvre in Paris, the Prado in Madrid, the Hermitage in St. Petersburg. In Italy, to admire his canvases, one must never go too far away.

On the occasion of Valentine's Day, exhibitions, events and activities celebrate love for art and from 1 to 17 February it is possible to purchase two Lombardy Museum Subscription cards at a special price of 40 euros each, with the possibility of visit all the participating museums, especially in Milan but not only. The "themed" initiative does not stop there: it will also be possible to spend Valentine's Day, Thursday 14 February, visiting exhibitions inside the large cultural proposal of the circuit or participating in themed activities reserved for subscribers, such as theromantic aperitif, an initiative organized at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan, where the exhibition dedicated to Romanticism is underway, created in collaboration with the Gallerie d'Italia. During the evening it will also be possible to visit the rooms dedicated to the exhibition and the permanent collection of the Museum (event reserved and free for subscribers).
