Last night's summit at Palazzo Chigi between the government and the trade unions ended in stalemate: CGIL, CISL and UIL confirmed today's strike, which consists of a three-hour abstention from work.
”Last night didn't go well, in the sense that we presented our opinions and requests, but on the other hand, albeit politely, we limited ourselves to saying that we understand the needs but are unable to come to a discussion of change,” reports the leader of the Cisl, Raffaele Bonanni. "According to the tone of the discussion, it seemed to us only a courtesy, rather than the will to entertain a comparison to improve the maneuver".
In fact, the government insisted: "Situation of emergency - reads a statement -, the maneuver is not unfair and the figures cannot be distorted". And while we await the green light from the Commissions to the text that will pass in the Chamber tomorrow, we are still working on some changes. Particularly expected the raising of the limit (from 500 to 980 euros) for "cash" payments by the public administration, which will allow retirees to withdraw the check without having to open a current account.
