Mafia massacres, Berlusconi and Dell'Utri under investigation

The two are under investigation again, this time by the Florence prosecutor's office, for the mafia massacres of 1992 and 1993: the hypothesis is always that which would see the former prime minister and his trusted man as possible instigators of the attacks on Falcone and Borsellino.

Mafia massacres, Berlusconi and Dell'Utri under investigation

Silvio Berlusconi and Marcello Dell'Utri are again under investigation as possible instigators of the mafia massacres of 1992 and 1993 by the Florence prosecutor's office. La Repubblica and Corriere della Sera write it. The public prosecutor's office, responsible for the investigation into the 92/93 massacres, which had already opened an investigation into Berlusconi on two other occasions (the last closed in 2011), obtained from the magistrate the reopening of the file against them after receiving from Palermo the interceptions of the conversations in prison of the boss of Cosa nostra Giuseppe Graviano, carried out as part of the investigation into the so-called State-Mafia negotiation.

The Florence prosecutor Giuseppe Creazzo, write the two newspapers, has delegated the carrying out of checks to the judicial police. The names of the former premier and former senator Dell'Utri, also of him (in prison for external competition in the mafia association) Graviano would speak in the interceptions, they have been entered with headers that are supposed to cover their identity, as in the previous investigations into the alleged hidden masterminds of the massacres.
