Ihake Mashrapov, the 28-year-old Kyrgyz accused yesterday of being responsible for the deaths of 39 people in the New Year's attack, has been cleared. Mashrapov explained to the Kyrgyz authorities, as well as to the Turkish police, that he had nothing to do with the attack, demonstrating from the stamps in his passport that he was not in Istanbul on New Year's Eve.
