Massacre in Berlin: an Italian girl is missing (VIDEO)

"We have the wrong man”. The German newspaper Bild writes it, claiming that the 23-year-old Pakistani refugee arrested for last night's massacre in Berlin he would not be the real bomber. Security sources quoted by the newspaper Die Welt say that, according to the police in the German capital, the killer would still be "armed and on the loose".

The arrested young man, according to reports from the Dpa agency, would in fact have denied having committed the crime, "disputing all accusations". The 23-year-old Pakistani had been stopped shortly after the attack thanks to the intervention of a German citizen, who had chased him and reported to the police.

Meanwhile, it has been learned that among the missing there is also Fabrizia Di Lorenzo an Italian girl, originally from Sulmona, who has been living and working in Berlin for several years. Her first appeal was launched yesterday evening on Facebook: in her post we read that after the attack on the Christmas market her cell phone was found but there was no trace of her. But only today, when the young woman did not go to work, did the alarm go off and the Italian embassy took action. "It's over, I'm not deluding myself," the girl's father commented bitterly. The Farnesina is at work, while the news that they would be there is circulating also two Italians among the 48 injured, slightly.

As for the nature of the massacre that took place yesterday evening, the German Interior Ministry has now admitted beyond any doubt that it was a terrorist attack. For his part, Angela Merkel spoke in the Chancellery headquarters: "We don't want to live in fear even if these are the hours of fear in our country - he said - And even if it would be intolerable if it were confirmed that this act was carried out by a person who asked for protection and asylum in Germany, Germany will continue to support those who want to integrate”.
