In the black day of tech stocks in Piazza Affari, the performances of Caltagirone Editore and Pininfarina stand out, which within an hour of the closing of the Stock Exchange achieve double-digit increases.
As far as Francesco Gaetano's company Caltagirone is concerned, sales are boosted by the announcement of the public purchase offer that Chiara Finanziaria, a company indirectly controlled by Caltagirone, currently in possession of 60% of the capital, intends to launch on the free float at 1 euro per share. At 16.40 pm, the stock was up 21,57% at 1,02 euro, exceeding the price set by the takeover bid aimed at the delisting. Also on the shields Pininfarina which, on the day of the launch of the capital increase, is currently up by 16,22% to 2,544 euros.
Based on the provisions of the company's approximately 26,5 million recapitalization operation, the option rights will be negotiable from 12 June to 26 June 2017 and must be exercised by 30 June 2017. The capital increase provides for the issue of 24.120.480 new Pininfarina ordinary shares with a nominal value of 1 euro each, having the same characteristics as those in circulation. The shares will be offered as an option to all the company's shareholders in the ratio of 4 new shares for every 5 shares held at the subscription price of 1,10 euro each.
