Great expectations for the press conference on Tuesday 18 May, during which Stellantis and Foxconn, the world's largest electrical and electronic components company and Apple's iPhone partner, will announce details of the new strategic partnership. For the moment, the details of the agreement are not yet known, which however should also include the collaboration of the Foxconn subsidiary FIH Mobile, a company specialized in assembly.

The partnership will be introduced by Carlos Tavares, chief executive officer of Stellantis, Young Liu, president of Foxconn, Yves Bonnefont, chief software officer of Stellantis, and Calvin Chih, chief executive officer of FIH.

The agreement comes after months of negotiations, also slowed down by the pandemic and the time necessary for the establishment of the new Stellantis structures born from the merger between FCA and PSA.

On the eve of the announcement, in Piazza Affari, the title Stellantis gains more than 1% to 15,006 euros per share, beating the performance of the Ftse Mib which rose by 0,36% in mid-afternoon.
