Stefanel lands in China and Taiwan: 50 new stores starting in 2012

Italian fashion lands, once again, in the East. To be precise, in China and Taiwan. Stefanel has in fact signed a distribution agreement for the two Asian countries with Carnival International, a Chinese company operating in the clothing retail sector and present in various countries around the world, from the United States to Japan.

The agreement has a duration of 5 years and provides for the exclusive distribution of the Stefanel clothing and accessory lines on the Chinese and Taiwanese markets and the opening of 50 new stores in the most prestigious local shopping malls and department stores.

Following this agreement, Carnival International - after having acquired 4 Stefanel stores in Shanghai (Citic Square and Grand Gateway), Nanjing and Changsha in recent months - is ready to start the agreed development plan which will see the first openings of new Stefanel stores as early as 2012 in the cities of Beijing, Shenyang and Chengdu.

Carnival International is part of Yulon Group, a Taiwanese corporation which has differentiated its business in various sectors, including electronics, automobiles and real estate.
