An IoT platform capable of accelerating the digital transformation of companies. That is, in other words, a set of hardware and software tools (which can be integrated with existing IT technologies) which allow you to monitor and optimize industrial processes, energy consumption and predictive maintenance. For this invention an Italian startup named Zerynth was awarded at G20 Innovation League, organized in Sorrento in the framework of the Italian Presidency of the G20.

The event brought together 100 startups from G20 countries and as many international operators between venture capitalists and large companies. “The project, strongly backed by the Italian presidency – reads a note from the organization – was designed to continue over time and become a point of reference in the field of innovation. Its peculiarity lies in having brought together not only the most promising startups from the G20 countries, but also institutions and investment funds, favoring the creation of collaborations and new business projects during the event itself”.

The G20 Innovation League saw the Agency at the forefront of the organization Ice, CDP Venture Capital Sgr e Simest. The startups, called upon to present their projects and propose technological solutions, took part in five challenges, with two young companies awarded for each category.

In the "IoT and Wearables" sector, the Canadian was awarded together with Zerynth Show, which has created an enterprise application with which workers can capture, use and share strategic information in real time, developing greater productivity. This technology facilitates standardized multimedia knowledge of procedures, training content and solutions related to each workstation and machine.

Among the other award-winning startups, the British stands out in the "Cleantech" category ACT Balde Ltd, which has patented wind turbine blades that are 32% lighter and 10% longer than conventional ones, characteristics that lead to the production of 9% more energy in wind farms, as well as other advantages in terms of reduction of breakdowns and interruptions.
